6 Week Yoga Program:
This is an inclusive yoga class for every BODY, taught by plus size YogaFit trained instructor Bernie Feakes.
What to expect in class;
• My cheesy jokes
• Cozy class; 8-15 students
• A body positive, non judgmental, supportive and relaxed environment.
• Casual class; if you have a question during class feel free to ask
• Variations of the poses will be offered (choose your own adventure)
• Feel free to laugh or cry during class-just let it out
• This is a beginner Hatha Vinyasa class. (There are no head standing poses..LOL).
• We will end with a relaxing meditation including body positive affirmations.
My goals are;
• To give you an understanding of the structure of a basic yoga class
• Get you into poses safely
• Help you feel comfortable and confident in a yoga class
• Help you with modifications as needed
• Answer any questions you may have about poses, benefits of poses etc.
What to bring:
•Yoga mat
•Bottle of water
•Wear comfortable clothing
Optional:
•Blanket or sweater for meditation
•Blocks & Straps
Note: I have a few yoga mats for those who would like to borrow one-first come first served basis
Chairs are available for those who need.
